Inky Paws Challenge #62 - Color Challenge

Today I decided to make a Christmas tag using the color challenge over at the Inky Paws Challenge
I thought these were such cute soft colors.  My first thought was to make a birthday card but then decided I needed a tag so I pulled out Jolly Tags stamp set from Newtons Nook Designs and stamped out the adorable penguin.  I then used the colors above to color my tag with my copic markers.
Be sure and check out Inky Paws Challenge blog to see what the design team came up with for this challenge.

Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for the "Challenge Your Stash" group I am in on Splitcoaststampers.  This month Maggie was up as the host and her challenge this month was to make a New Year's card without an alcohol theme.
I found this adorable digital image over at Gerda Steiner Designs called 2018 Mice Digital Stamp.  I thought it would be perfect for this challenge.  I printed it off on my printer and then colored it with my copic markers.  The happy was from a sizzix Tim Holtz die set.

Thanks Maggie for a great challenge.

Unidentified Image #35

I didn't want to post twice yesterday so I decided to post my card for the Unidentified Image Swap #35 today.  Jody was the hostess this month and she chose an adorable hedgehog as her image.  It is called Hedgehog Happiness and is a retired set from Stampin up.
I colored the image with my copic markers and decided to use my balloon punch from stampin up to add a little embellishment.

Thanks Jody for a great challenge.

PIP Challenge #1751

Time again for another challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  Today's challenge is being sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps.  Have you checked out their digital stamps?  Well if not, you must because they are just so cute.

For my card on this challenge I decided to use the stamp "Coffee Time" because I am always ready for coffee.
I printed off the digital stamp on my printer and then colored the image with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut the image out and did a nice colorful layout.

I hope you enjoyed my card.  Remember to join us at PIP Challenges because you can submit any project and be a lucky winner.

Crafters of Faith Challenge

Today is reveal day for Crafters of Faith Challenge group over at Splitcoaststampers.  Imke was the hostess this month and she chose the scripture Matthew 2:10 (When the wise men saw the star, they were filled with job).  So the challenge is all about the wise men.
I used the stamp set "Reason for the Season" from Close to My Heart.  I stamped the image on the bottom and then stamped the sentiment on a separate piece of paper to cut out and pop dot it.

Thanks for stopping by.  I enjoyed the challenge this month because it is such a nice holiday card.

PIP Challenge #1749

Time for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  This weeks' challenge (#1749) is sponsored by Digital Delights by Louby Loo

They have such adorable images in their store.  It was hard for me to decide which image to use.  I finally decided to go with "Christmas Ewan the Mouse".
I printed off the image and then colored it with my copic markers.  The snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.  I used my Brother Scan n cut to cut out the image after coloring it.  Just so much fun.

Remember that "Anything Goes" over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  Jump in and join us with your talents.

Create From Your Stash

Today is reveal day for a challenge I am in on Splitcoaststampers.  Someone every month selects a challenge so we can create something from our stash.  This month's challenge was from Vickie and it was to make a gift tag.
I had recently made this card at a a retreat and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.  I think this was a die set but not really sure as Liz was the one who brought this kit and I forgot to ask her.
Thanks for stopping by to see this fun project.

Inky Paws Challenge #60

Well I am still making Christmas cards like mad.  I think when it is all said and done I will of made over 200 Christmas cards.  I sent 100 to a charity, made 55 for family and now I need some for myself to send out.

I noticed over at Inky Paws Challenge that the challenge this week is Sparkle.
Image may contain: text
So I went to one of my favorite stamp sets "Holiday Hounds" and stamped out the hound in a stocking.
I first colored it with my copic markers and added some gold stickles at the line marks.  I added the gold scalloped oval and then heat embossed with gold the sentiment.

So another card done thanks to these wonderful challenges at Newton's Nook.

PIP Challenge #1747

Today is Monday so you know what that means - time for another PIP Challenge.  Today's challenge (#1747) is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.  I am a huge fan of their digital stamps.  Please check out their store because they have such an assortment of fun digital stamps.

For my card today I have chosen Bug JJ 29 Again.  I made this for a friend of mine and it just works perfectly.

I started by selecting my paper which is Cupcakes and Carousels by Stampin Up.  I then selected some copic markers to match up the paper and colored my image.  What I love about digital stamps is that you can size them any way you want. I then used a Stampin Up balloon die to accent the image.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to join us over at PIP Challenges because as always "Anything Goes".

Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge

I am still working on Christmas cards.  I can't believe November is almost over.  I decided I would make a card for a family member who loves dachshunds.  I noticed over at Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge that they were having a Color Challenge so I designed my card around those colors.
Image may contain: text
For my card I chose the stamp set "Holiday Hounds".   I colored the dachshund and then fussy cut him out.  I did the same with the Christmas hat.  I then pop dotted him over the snow.
I just love Newton's Nook stamps because they just make you smile.  Thanks so much for stopping by to see my card.

Dueling Darlings

Since today is the 15th, this means it is time for our Dueling Darlings challenge.  This month the challenge was selected by Deb and Suzy.  I loved the challenge because it gave me a break from all my Christmas cards.  So the theme is "Frogs" since it is the time of year that everyone is hopping to and fro.
This adorable image is from Stampin Up.  I am pretty sure it is retired.  So cute.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  The designer paper is from Graphic 45, My Colors & Bazzill.  Thanks girls for a great challenge.

Crafters of Faith Challenge

Well since today is November 7th, I guess that means it is time for our Crafters of Faith Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  This month's challenge comes from Jody and she chose the scripture "Sing unto the Lord with Thanksgiving" - Psalms 147:7.  Music has always been a very important part of my life.  I can remember my piano lessons with Mrs. Jones when I was little.  I would go with my sisters and when one of us was done, we would wait on the others.  I still remember listening to Donny Osmond albums waiting on my sister.

So I took a different take on this challenge.  Animals have also been a big part of my life.  I have had a dog, cat, horse, etc. at all parts of my life.  I am thankful for them and feel that it is important to rescue a cat or dog from a local shelter because they will be forever grateful to you.  They will always sign your praises.

The image and sentiment are both from a stamp set called "Punny Christmas Pups" from Inky Antics.  I colored the dog with my copic markers and cut it out with a Stampin Up oval die. I also used some Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

PIP Challenge #1745

It is time for another full challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This is a fun week for me because I get to use one of my favorite stamps from Newton's Nook Designs who is sponsoring us this week.
For my card I used the set Newton's Curious Christmas.  I first started by adding different shades of blue to a piece of watercolor paper.  I then sprayed the piece of watercolor paper with Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spritz.  I then added the fence die cut and I colored the cat and moon with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut it out and pop dotted it on the fence.  I used white embossing powder for the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and remember that "Anything Goes" at PIP Challenges.  Join us and play along.

Inky Paws Challenge #58

Time again for another challenge over at Inky Paws Challenge.  This week I decided to put away all my  cat stamps and try a dog stamp for a change.  The challenge this week is a sketch challenge.
Image may contain: text
I pulled out my stamp set called "Fetching Friendships".   I love this set because it reminds me of my sister's chocolate lab.
The sentiments I used on the orange strip were from the stamp set "Boo Crew".  I never get tired of this stamp set.

Funny story with the background paper.  A good friend of mine just laughed when she saw pussy willow paper and thought she would never use it so she gave it to me.  Guess who is getting this card?  Yep, you know it, that same friend.

Bugaboo Challenge

I have been doing the Falliday Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers this week.  What does that mean you say?  Well I have made 30 cards and done 10 tutorials so I have been quite busy this week.

One of the challenges was to make a snarky Christmas card.  Well I really didn't have any stamps that were snarky so I decided to go digital.  I went to Bugaboo stamps because her stamps just make me smile.  I chose - Gertrude Tinsel in a Tangle.  I am a real fan of digital stamps and love Bugaboo Stamps.
I noticed that they were having a challenge over at Bugaboo stamps so I decided to give it a whirl.  I am entering this card in the October Bingo Challenge.  For this challenge you must use the bingo board below.  I went with Gem (Black inside of snowflake), Players Choice (Snowflake) and 3 Layers (OK I had 4 so overachiever)

Thanks for Bugaboo for a great challenge.

For my card today I chose Penguins Fishy Friend.  Since my husband is a fisherman I tend to like any image with fish in it.  I printed the image off on Neenah Classic Crest paper and then colored the image with my copic markers.  I have decided that I really like to color penguins.  They are so much fun.

Crafters of Faith

Today I am posting a card I made for a group I am in called Crafters of Faith.  The challenge this month is "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 NIV" selected by Susan.  We were to make a card with a quilt, tapestry or artwork of sorts.

I love to quilt and had this die from Papertrey Ink and decided it would be perfect for my challenge.  The sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink.  The papers I used were from Simple Stories called Domestic Bliss.

Thanks for stopping by.

Inky Paws Challenge #56

You all know that I am a huge fan of Newton's Nook Designs.  I decided to do something a little different for my project today.  I noticed on the Inky Paws Challenge #56 that they were having a color challenge.
I love playing along with these challenges because it gives me a chance to use my adorable stamps.
I am getting ready to go on a retreat and wanted to make gift bags for everyone.  I used the stamp set Boo Crew and colored the images.  I cut a piece of halloween paper into a 4 1/2" square.  I folded it in half and cut a window out for the handle and added ribbon.  I then adhered a few embellishments along with the colored image.
So now I only have 54 more treat bags to make.

Thanks for stopping by to see my post for the day.

Challenge Your Stash

Since today is the 28th, it means that it is time for "Challenge Your Stash".  Today's challenge was from Terry.  Her challenge was to use Washi tape.  Well that was not a problem for me because I have a real weakness for washi tape when I see it in the store.  I don't use it very often but I always enjoy looking at it.
I went to my halloween stash and used the coordinating tapes for my background.  I am not exactly sure where the stamp came from because a friend just handed me the image and asked me to color it and make it in to a card.  So here is my fun card for Terry's challenge.

Prickley Pear Kitty and Holly

Today I am posting a card made from the new release this month from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  It was my favorite stamp from this set.  The stamp is called Kitty and Holly
I think this card reminds me of my two orange tabbies and the trouble they get in to with all the Christmas decorations when they are out.   Cats seem to be so curious about everything.  Bring out a box and they are there.

I stamped the image on Neenah Classic Crest Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I then colored it with my copic markers.  I used red stickles on the berries to give it a little sparkle and green on the holly to have it shine.  The sentiment is also from the new release set called Welcome Christmas.

I know I will be making several more of these cards because I love the image.  Be sure and check out the Prickley Pear Blog to see what the other design team members designed this week.

I decided to enter in the following challenge:
Christmas With the Cuties - Use an Animal in your card

MFT Innovation Master Superstar

Since there were 3 different categories in the superstar contest, I thought I might as well try all 3.  I decided to enter this card in the 2017 Card Design Superstar contest. The 3rd category was Innovation Master which means an interactive card of some kind.

For my card today I started with the cute little stamp set called Fierce Friends
I had seen this tutorial online about a folded card and have been wanting to try it for a long time.  So I started with an 8 x 8" piece of brown cardstock and first scored 2" all the way around.  Once you see the inside you will see where else I scored.  I then cut out 12 pieces of 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" pieces of vanilla cardstock and stamped away with different stamps for the Fierce Friend Stamp set.  This is what the inside looked like.

This was such a fun card to make and will continue to make more.

Thanks for stopping by to see my card and thanks also to My Favorite Things for having this wonderful contest.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I am on a roll making cards for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  Such a great bloghop and I am having so much fun bringing out my coffee stamps.
For this card I took a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" watercolor cardstock and stamped the dry embossed the Lawn Fawn leaves and then used watercolor crayons to color in the images.  I then stamped a coffee cup stamp from  Papertrey Ink.  The sentiment is also from the Papertrey Ink Set.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the blog with all the fantastic sponsors and other creation people who have made a project for this hop.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I am definitely going with a record of 3 posts in one day.  I made another card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.

For this card I took a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" vanilla cardstock and stamped the various fall leaves from the Close To My  Heart fall leaf set.  I then stamped a couple coffee stamps from the coffee cup Papertrey Ink set.  The sentiment is from The Angel Company that is no longer in business.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the blog with all the fantastic sponsors and other creation people who have made a project for this hop.

Mystery Image #42

I am a day late in posting my card for our challenge this month.  Gosh, where does the time go?
The image was selected by LJ this month and it is from the Stampin Up Countryside set.  I colored the image with my copic markers and developed my card.

Thanks LJ for a great challenge.

Prickley Pear Wheelbarrow Full of Pumpkins

Hello on this gorgeous fall like day.  Since today is Tuesday it is time for a post using Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  The leaves are just starting to turn here in Kansas and it is getting to be pumpkin time around here.  Have you noticed all the pumpkin flavored drinks available now?

For my card today I used the fun stamp set called Wheelbarrow Full of Pumpkins and Golden Pumpkin. I stamped these images on Neenah Classic Craft paper and then colored them with my copic markers.  I then added a few embellishments.

Be sure and check out the Prickley Pear blog and see what some of the other design team members created.

Coloring Virtuoso MFT Card

One of my favorite things to do is to color with my zig watercolor markers.  Coloring always brings me such peace and reminds me of my childhood where I could just sit for hours with my crayons and color.   I decided to enter this card in the 2017 Card Design Superstar contest.  They have 3 categories and this card was for the Coloring Virtuoso Category
I seem to always go for my favorite stamp set from My Favorite Things called Funky Flowers

I first stamped several of the flowers on a piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" watercolor paper.  I also stamped the leaves and large flower on a piece of watercolor paper.  I then colored all the images with my zig watercolor markers (flowers - peach pink and yellow, leaves - mid green).  I then fussy cut the large flower and leaf bunches out.  I then cut a piece of pink cardstock at a diagonal to give it a different look.  For the sentiment, I used the Celebrate Your Special Day from LJD Birthday Greetings stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by to see my card and thanks also to My Favorite Things for having this wonderful contest.

PIP Challenge #2409

I am a little late in posting my card for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2409 .  Our internet was down all day yesterday.  Oh the joys of...
