I love these Friday Mashup Challenges because they always have such great ideas. The challenge was to use the sketch above, use a rosette or do both. I decided to try both in my card.
I used a cuttlebug leaf embossing folder and designer papers I received from my secret sister . The center of my rosette was actually at the top of a large paperclip. I took it off and it made a great center for my card. Another great challenge card done.

This is gorgeous Tracie.. I love the center of your Rosette! Great colors in your pattern papers. Thanks for joining us at the Friday Mashup.
Wow- what a great idea for the Rosette center! Love the use of DSP and the scroll design of the die cut- beautiful card! Thanks for joining us at the Friday Mashup!
Hi Tracie, Love your take on our challenge this week, you've done a great job of Holly's sketch and I like your rosette, complete with recycling the centrepiece.
Thanks for sharing with us.

The sketch is perfect to use a Rosette and yours looks fabulous. I like your color choice and the swirl.
I love how your rosette and swirly look like a flower and a crawling vine (or that's what I thought of when I saw it... and I love it!) I also like the patterned paper you used. Great challenge job indeed!
Wonderful card! I love the different texture you've got going on, and that big flourish looks great! Also, the center of the rosette is fabulous!
I love this layout and design. Great take on it, love the colors you used too. Great job Tracie! Beautiful card.
